Haa! I was wracking my brains, too! I thought "Ooh any one of those could be true, how interesting!" And then Ping came along and actually put some thought and some logic into it

It was things like North and South Korea not existing until after WWII. I know so little about things like that This has made for an interesting thread I'm partially testing something by replying to this but I didn't know much about that stuff until recently . Although, now that I do know more about my grandparents history (on my mom's side, my dad doesn't really like to talk about his) it makes a lot of sense as to my parents upbringing of my sister and I. I have countless relatives who were pastors or sung in the choir at church or were missionaries to different countries. Even if their careers didn't involve religion (like my grandfather was an anesthesiologist), they were heavily involved in the church. Although my parents are liberal christians (liberal politics wise), they are devout christians none-the-less and Christianity has been hammered in my brain from a very young age. This makes it pretty difficult to voice my opinions especially as I am an atheist. Okay, so now Im rambling and completely derailing this thread .

Is nobody going to resurrect this thread? Okay I guess I'll have to. Here are 2 lies and 1 truth (and this time I won't fuck it up ). 1. I have never been out of the U.S. 2. My dad works for a company that makes 3d printers. 3. When my parents found out they were having twins, they immediately had an ultrasound to make sure we weren't boys.

Need more feet through the door I think Tell all your hamster friends! And I'm gonna guess the one truth is your dad working for a 3D printer firm Because that sounds cool! (which one?!) here's mine! - When I was a kid, I made a gun from Mechano and a party popper, and shot a hole in my window frame.
- One of my earliest memories was of falling off my trike and cutting my left knee. I still have the scar!
- I once built a computer inside a fish tank, and filled it with oil for cooling.

You're kind-of correct . My dad DID work for a company that made medical machines but they were bought by the 3D Printer company, that pretty much made my dad's life hell for 3 years. #3 is actually correct. My parents really wanted kids and when they finally got pregnant with us, they were so excited.... and then they found out there were 2 of us in there. My dad remembered how crazy he was as a child (an that ADHD runs in our family) and immediately wanted to be prepared if they were having boys. # 1 is a lie but I've only been to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls and in International Waters.
