Hey, guys! I'm possibly rescuing a feeder mouse and fostering him until I can find him a new home, but I need some . I joined a mouse forum and they told me that my 40 gallon tank would be too big for the little guy and that I should get a 10 gallon tank. That feels way too small for me but I wanted to know y'all's opinions on the matter. I also just need some help on general mice care so if you have any experience with mice, I would love to know anything and everything!

I don't think a tank can be too big for an animal. Too big for the house maybe Hopefully some other members can weigh in, though I'm not sure who here has experience with mice Of course you must post pictures of the little guy if/when you get him

That's what I thought too! They said that it may be too big for the little guy to guard and that could possibly make him either very aggressive or or very nervous. Here's a picture of him in his current owner's cage:

Aww I see! That makes sense I don't know how territorial mice are, so I couldn't pass comment! Love the little guy though, gorgeous colours I lack a proper reference of scale, but he looks pretty big!

Sorry, I had to silicone the detolf together, but he looked rather big to me too!

Looking forward to seeing the detolf layout And I always thought mice were tiny things! That one looks rat-sized
