*puts on imaginary sunglasses* Mkay. So today I was reviewing my schools insanely strict rules on dress code and came across the rule about hair dye. Apparently any "normal" hair color is allowed, such as brown blond, and black if you see where I'm going with this. A while back I tried to convince my parents to let me dye my hair blue, which succeeded except by the time they said yes there was only a week before school started. So, if any regular hair color is allowed, why not dye my hair black? I've wanted to try this for a while, just never read the school rules regarding it until I remember on kid bleached his hair a few years back. Although there are some problems... 1. My parents. Ugh. Although I convinced them to let me have blue hair, it was only supposed to be temporary where as this will most likely last at least a year and half. Plus they already think I'm too "alternative" because my entire wardrobe it black. They aren't exactly supportive of this. 2. My hair. I have light colored very fine hair. I don't know if this will be a problem or not, but I don't want all my hair falling out or anything lol. 3. My school. Although the rule says natural colors of hair (black is a normal color right?), I don't want teachers to dislike me anymore than currently. Even now it's bad enough. This isn't really a major problem though. So help in any of these areas or which dyes work best, etc? I especially need help with my parents. Thanks!

I think you should do it ;-;
My mom dyes her hair (because she's old cx) and it never weakened or fell out, and she has very fine hair. So I wouldn't worry about your hair falling out. Your parents.....I get what you mean cx I dress in very dark clothes and apparently my style "scares" people away, but I rather be wearing all black than hot pink like most people I see around. xp I don't get why they'd let you dye your hair blue and not black because it's more natural than blue. I mean, if I wanted to dye my hair my mom/dad would rather me dye it a natural color than purple.
The teacher thing. If you do dye your hair black and they treat you rudely, etc than I'd have a word with a teacher/parent/school counselor. Teachers aren't there to judge your style and the only time they should ever say anything negative about what you're wearing is if it goes against the school dress code. They're there to teach not to be your stylist.
