You all know how much I love all flying devices Here are some of my pics from various air shows and fly pasts.... Red Arrows display over Silverstone just before the F1 Grand Prix: My favourite plane, the Supermarine Spitfire: A very special moment: two Lancaster bombers flying together at the Clacton airshow. There is only one Lancaster left in Britain that is allowed to fly, the other had come over from Canada. This isn't a sight to be seen again The Breitling Wing Walkers. Needless to say, I would LOVE to do this! Bi-plane aerobatic display team: Eurofighter Typhoon. LOUD! And also, as the announcer said, "it flies like a kid with a remote control plane who doesn't know how to control it". Deliberately aerodynamically UN-stable. Beautiful A sad story The Avro Vulcan bomber. This is the last flying Vulcan in the world, and sadly this one had its last flight this summer These pics were taken at one of its final displays. What a wonderful looking aircraft In the first Vulcan pic you can see some dots around the wing tip. On the full-size image you can see that it's a group of unfortunate birds just off the wing tip who weren't expecting a 200,00 lb piece of metal travelling at 500 mph In this pic you can also see her name: "The Spirit of Great Britain". Poor plane And finally, my little plane (okay, not mine, but the one I fly ) She's a little Cessna 152 Aerobat Plucky little plane - not the fastest or fanciest, but good-natured and tries her best Wow, that turned out quite pic-heavy, sorry about that
